CUSTOM-MADE UKIYO-E
At UKIYO-E PROJECT, we also take custom order from clients and produce CUSTOM-MADE UKIYO-E. Artisans that mastered the traditions and skills with rich history of 400 years will be producing the works with love. Washi-paper made in Fukui prefecture is called Echizen Kisuki Bousho. The paper mulberry is 100% made in Japan, and hand-made paper is known for its strength and suppleness, and have been widely used in ukiyo-e and Japanese paintings for centuries. The prints are produced by hand one by one, so there are slight differences, but that is part of the charm of ukiyo-e so please enjoy as an unique texture. CUSTOM-MADE UKIYO-E has somewhat a nostalgic yet heartwarming aspect to it, and it has various opportunities such as; to gift someone to commemorate a special occasion, a memorabilia for a client, and/or a present for your VIP client, etc.
