UKIYO-E PROJECT Adviser Mr. Shigeru Shindo is an ukiyo-e researcher, connoisseur, and collector, known for his collection of rare pieces and profound knowledge that goes beyond ukiyo-e to cover the rich culture of Edo in general. For those who are interested in a collaborative project with his collection, such as stage work, product design, commercials and advertisements, or music videos, we are available for consultation via the form below. The supervision of such collaborative work by Mr. Shindo and UKIYO-E PROJECT is also possible.

We are also open for consultation for talk shows and seminars by Mr. Shindo, during which guests will be able to see various ukiyo-e up-close, from emblematic masterpieces to rare finds, whilst listening to the history and culture behind each work. Mr. Shindo will welcome and answer questions during and after each session.
